ISDS Awards
ISDS recognizes excellence and leadership in the field of skeletal dysplasias through the awards below.
Maroteaux Award
The Maroteaux Award is given for career recognition for clinical, molecular, scientific, and educational merits
in the field of skeletal dysplasias, including contributions supporting work in developing countries.
Historical note: At the 10th Meeting (Palm Cove, Australia, 2011), the award was presented for
best platform presentations rather than career recognition due to meeting demographics.
